Girona – Figueras und Dalimuseum

Take a day to go on a full day excursion in the northern Catalonia! You meet your guide at the meeting point in Barcelona, and from there you travel in an airconditioned bus to the city of Girona. Here you get a guided tour of the historic center of the city. You see the Cathedral, the Jewish quater, the Arab baths and the old walls, all which stand out in a magnificent way!

Afterwards you have some free time on your hands. You can eat lunch, walk through the city at your own pace or stop at a café for a cup of coffee. You also have time to discover the corners that served as a backdrop during the recording of the famous show Game of Thrones!

Then you get on the bus and travel about 30 kilometres to Figueres, where you visit the Theatre-Museum Dalí. Figueres is the birthplace of the famous artist, Salvador Dalí, and therefore this museum houses the largest art collection of this surrealist genius! You also get access to Joyas Dalí, which features thirty-seven jewels from the old Owen Cheatham collection along with drawings and paintings made by Dalí. 

When you've seen the wonderful art, exhibitions and spend time at the museum in Figueres, you drive back to Barcelona with your mind filled with new exciting impressions!
